Zinc


Never underestimate the usefulness of zinc in your system. I was reminded again when I had a nasty virus and I got some throat losenges with zinc in them. They not only shut my cough up, they made me feel better. After a couple of days I was feeling more like myself and then I notices my nails and hair had improved. You can overdo zinc , so don't take too much of it!  Pumkin seeds, lentils, peanuts and almonds are good sources of zinc, but the site I have linked to gives you a nice list and if you like oysters, - eat them! Zinc helps to boost your immune system and your overall health improves.
